Submit Content Proposals for the 2027 Marbleseed Organic Farming Conference

Thank you for your interest in helping shape the Marbleseed Organic Farming Conference (Feb. 25-27)! We could not organize this event without the participation of so many fabulous presenters and supporters.

We are seeking proposals for the kinds of sessions that are common to this event, i.e., panels, hands-on sessions, while also encouraging new approaches to sharing information, harvesting the wisdom in the room, and being in community. We repeatedly hear from attendees that community and thinking together about how to create change in the food system are highlights, so let's lean into these!

Please provide your content proposal below. We are seeking content that provides:

practical information farmers can use to improve their farms;
new or lesser known approaches and methods based on research or experience;
insights about industry issues/trends to help farmers make decisions related to production, business practices, conservation, personal growth and resilience;
opportunities for authentic connection with other attendees.

Proposals will be selected based on balance of content and presentation styles/approaches. We seek to create an event that celebrates small- and mid-sized diversified organic farming.

The more specific and detailed you can be in your proposal, the better we will be able to determine how it fits with the rest of the event schedule and offerings.

Content proposal description (60 words max) – Please write a description that tells a participant what they'll learn by attending this session. Selected proposal descriptions will appear on the website. Presenters will have an opportunity to review and correct if needed before it is posted publicly.*

Choose one Presentation - Lecture Hands-on workshop (participants practice a new skill or do an activity) Facilitated workshop (includes participant reflection and interaction) Facilitated allyship conversation (informal opportunities for groups to meet around a shared point of identity or interest) Panel discussion (3-4 experts talk about a specific topic, followed by conversation and questions) Pecha Kucha or Ignite sessions (session of presentations under a unified theme; presenters can have up to 20 images that they discuss for 20 seconds each)
