This day-long training will highlight the process of designing educational environments for adult learners. Based on popular education with its focus on dialogue and interaction versus presentation of information, this will be a day of interaction, practice, and reflection. Together we will explore building communities of practice and creating educational resources for adults within the context of required content. Space is limited.

About your facilitator:
Lori Stern, MA Education, is the current Executive Director at Marbleseed. She received her master’s degree in adult education with a focus on professional development and program design. Lori has published curricula and developed trainings for teachers on interactive learning methods and popular education.

Five professional development continuing education units (CEUs) are offered for this event. Attendance sheet will be available at the event.
There are funds to support farmers in attending this training. Stipends range from $60-120 and are intended to support the cost of transportation to and from the event and lodging, if needed. Information on stipend and registration reimbursement will be shared after the event. Email info@marbleseed.org if you are a farmer and are interested in a stipend to attend this event.
